When you join our event as a speaker, partner or participant we generally as you for:

- Your professional job title
- Your employer / company name
- Payment details (credit card information) * never stored

To provide you with our mobile networking solutions, when you download any of our mobile event apps we ask you for the following (separated by category):
Your Profile
- A current picture
- A short cv or personal description

- Social Media Links
During our matching survey
- Size of your company
- Company location
- Company industry
- Your job position / role
- Key topics you are interested in
How long is my data stored?
We store your data depending on the context it is used for and only for as long as we have a legal basis to do so. This means that should you ask us to delete your data, we will be happy to do so, as long as we do not have a legal obligation to retain it.
How is my data protected?

Is my data shared with anyone outside we.CONECT?
Like many companies, weCONECT is working with sub contractors in different areas. For example for accounting, payment processing, hosting infrastructure and so on. We maintain strict data processing agreements with such processors and ensure they adhere to the same requirements for privacy and security that we are. As such, your data may be shared with certain processors but only for a defined purpose and under strict supervision.
As part of the event networking business, your data is shared with event partners in accordance with weCONECT’s general terms and conditions.
What is the legal baseline for the processing of my data?
Most of the data that we ask you to provide is required for the performance of of our part of the contract (providing B2B events). On some occasions, we ask you to give us your explicit consent before we process your data. These cases are listed below
