FAQ

Where is my data stored?

Your data is securely stored in our data centre facilities in Germany. They never leave EU borders or frankly, Germany.

Is my data encypted?

Yes, your personal data is encrypted using a protocol named TLS 1.2 at the time you send it to us.
We do not store your payment information at all.

What if we.CONECT gets hacked?

We of course have safeguards in place that our servers and the data ion them are protected from attacks by hackers. But no security system will be 100% secure, and it is possible, however unlikely, that our system might be breached at some point. If this happens, we will adhere to the corresponding obligations of the GDPR. If there is any risk of personal data being affected, we will inform the supervisory authority within 72 hours. If a high risk of personal data being affected is assumed, we will inform any possibly affected customers without delay. As stated above, this scenario remains highly unlikely.
